User Privacy Choices

Last Updated: October 6, 2026

At ACTO GmbH, we respect your privacy and provide you with choices regarding how your personal data is used within the ActoPim mobile application. This page explains the privacy controls available to you and how you can exercise your data protection rights.

1. Manage Your Account Information

You may review and update certain personal information associated with your ActoPim account through the available account or profile settings within the application.

If information cannot be changed directly within the application, you may contact ACTO GmbH at info@actogmbh.com to request correction or updating of your personal data.

2. Delete Your Account

You may request deletion of your ActoPim account through the account deletion functionality available within the application or by contacting ACTO GmbH.

When your account is deleted, personal data that is no longer required for the provision of the service and is not subject to another valid legal basis will be deleted or anonymized.

Certain information may be retained where required by applicable law, necessary for security purposes, required for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or necessary to comply with statutory retention obligations.

3. Camera Access

ActoPim may request access to your device camera for barcode and supported QR code scanning features.

You may allow or disable camera access at any time through your device settings. If camera access is disabled, barcode and QR code scanning features may not be available, while other application features can continue to be used.

4. Microphone and Voice Search

On supported devices, ActoPim may request microphone or speech recognition access when you use the voice search feature.

You may disable microphone or speech recognition permissions at any time through your device settings. Disabling these permissions will only affect voice search functionality.

5. Notification Preferences

You may control whether ActoPim is permitted to send notifications through your device operating system settings.

Disabling notifications will not prevent you from using the core features of the application, although you may no longer receive certain service-related alerts, reminders, or informational messages.

6. Local Storage and Application Data

ActoPim may store certain information locally on your device to maintain sessions, remember preferences, support favorites, and ensure the proper operation and security of the application.

Depending on your device, you may remove certain locally stored information by signing out, deleting your account, clearing application data through your device settings, or uninstalling the application.

7. Analytics and Non-Essential Data Processing

Where ActoPim uses analytics, measurement, or similar technologies that are not strictly necessary for providing the service, such processing will be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection and device-access requirements.

Where consent is legally required, these activities will only be enabled after the required consent has been obtained. You may withdraw such consent at any time through the relevant privacy or device settings where available, or by contacting ACTO GmbH.

8. Marketing Communications

Where ACTO GmbH sends marketing or promotional electronic communications that require your consent under applicable law, you may withdraw your consent or unsubscribe at any time using the method provided in the relevant communication or by contacting us.

Withdrawal from marketing communications does not affect essential service, security, account, or legally required communications.

9. Sale or Rental of Personal Data

ACTO GmbH does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Personal data may be shared with service providers where necessary to operate ActoPim, provide technical infrastructure, maintain security, fulfill legal obligations, or provide requested services, as described in the ActoPim Privacy Policy.

10. Withdraw Your Consent

Where processing of your personal data is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your consent was withdrawn.

If withdrawing consent prevents ACTO GmbH from providing a specific optional feature, that feature may no longer be available to you.

11. Object to Certain Processing

Where the GDPR applies and personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, you may have the right to object to such processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.

You may also object at any time to processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes, where applicable.

12. Request Access to Your Personal Data

You may request information about the personal data ACTO GmbH processes about you and, where applicable, request a copy of that data.

Additional information may be requested where reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your personal data from unauthorized disclosure.

13. Request Correction of Your Personal Data

If you believe that personal data held about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request that it be corrected or completed.

14. Request Deletion of Your Personal Data

Subject to applicable legal conditions, you may request deletion of your personal data.

Deletion requests may be limited where ACTO GmbH is legally required or otherwise legally permitted to retain certain information.

15. Request Restriction of Processing

Where the GDPR applies and the legal requirements are met, you may request restriction of the processing of your personal data.

16. Data Portability

Where the GDPR applies and the relevant legal requirements are met, you may have the right to receive certain personal data you have provided to ACTO GmbH in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and, where technically feasible, request transmission of that data to another controller.

17. Automated Decision-Making

ActoPim does not currently use solely automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

Content suggestions, favorites, recently viewed items, or similar functionality do not constitute legally significant automated decision-making.

18. Your Rights Under the KVKK

Where the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) applies, you may exercise the rights provided under Article 11 of the KVKK, including the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed.
  • Request information regarding such processing.

  • Request notification of correction, deletion, or destruction to third parties to whom the data has been transferred.
  • Object to a result arising against you through the exclusive analysis of personal data by automated systems.
  • Request compensation where you suffer damage as a result of unlawful processing of personal data.

Where the KVKK applies, you may exercise your right to apply to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board in accordance with the procedures and conditions prescribed by law.

21. Changes to Your Privacy Choices

Available privacy controls may change as ActoPim features, technical infrastructure, legal requirements, or device operating systems evolve.

Where a material change affects your privacy choices, ACTO GmbH may provide additional information through the application, email, or another appropriate communication channel.
