ACTO GmbH provides ActoPim users with clear options to request deletion of their user account and the personal data associated with that account.

How to Delete Your ActoPim Account

You can request deletion of your ActoPim account using either of the following methods:

1. Delete Your Account in the ActoPim Application

ActoPim includes an account deletion option within the application. If you still have access to your account, you may use the account deletion function available in the application to initiate deletion of your account.

Once the account deletion request is submitted and any required identity verification is completed, the deletion process for your account and associated personal data will be initiated.

2. Request Account Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the ActoPim application or prefer to submit your request by email, you may request account deletion by contacting:

Please use the subject line “ActoPim Account Deletion Request” and provide the email address associated with your ActoPim account.

For security purposes, ACTO GmbH may request reasonable additional information where necessary to verify that the deletion request was submitted by the account holder.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When your ActoPim account is deleted, personal data associated with your account that is no longer required for another lawful purpose will be deleted or anonymized. Depending on your use of the application, this may include:

• User account and profile information.
• Name, surname, email address, and other account-related contact information.
• Profile image and optional profile information.
• Favorites and saved content.
• Recently viewed products and documents associated with your account.
• Search history associated with your account.
• Application preferences associated with your account.
• Authentication and session information that is no longer required.
• Other personal data directly associated with the ActoPim account, where no other valid legal basis requires its retention.

Data That May Be Retained

In limited circumstances, certain information may be retained after account deletion where ACTO GmbH is required or permitted to retain it for legitimate purposes, including:

• Compliance with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
• Information security and prevention of fraud, misuse, or unauthorized access.
• Establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
• Records required to demonstrate compliance with applicable data protection laws.
• Technical backup records that are subject to established backup retention periods.

Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary for the relevant purpose and will be deleted or anonymized when the applicable retention period expires.

What Happens After You Submit a Deletion Request?

1. Your deletion request is received by ACTO GmbH.
2. Your identity may be verified where reasonably necessary to protect your account and personal data.
3. Your ActoPim account deletion process is initiated.
4. Personal data associated with the account is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required or permitted by applicable law.
5. The request is processed within the time limits required by applicable data protection law.

Account deletion means deletion of the ActoPim account and is not limited to temporarily disabling, suspending, or freezing the account.

Deleting the Application Does Not Delete Your Account

Uninstalling or deleting the ActoPim application from your mobile device does not automatically delete your ActoPim user account or the personal data associated with that account.

To delete your account, please use the account deletion option within ActoPim or send an account deletion request to info@actogmbh.com.

Privacy and Data Protection

Account deletion requests are handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, where applicable, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
